This week Hooked on Kia are fishing a three hole golf match against Xnet from the Papa Aroha Motor Camp at Coromandel.
The three holes consist of open water; the mussel farms and within 0.2NM of
any structure (approx 400m can be checked with the GPS). In this case “structure” means visible islands, rocks and beacons. Reef not breaking the surface is considered open water.
All fishing is with softbaits only and the target species is snapper. The anglers can fish any amount of time for any hole in any order and go back to a hole at any stage. However the winner of each individual hole is the boat catching the most legal snapper combined.
Plus of course the twist to be announced on the day.
